William Buford is the new Glasgow boys basketball coach. The Glasgow native spent the last few years as an assistant at Chicago powerhouse Simeon Career Academy and was previously a head coach in Memphis. He is the first ever African American head boys basketball coach at GHS.
Why are our black & brown boys treated as problems long before they are treated as people? Our black & brown girls thought to have attitudes when it is simply their voice that they want to be heard? Why do you fear their brown toned skin before knowing they have a heart of gold?
My family is the most important thing in my life and at this point I really miss having them all here for a cookout or a Sunday dinner. I miss my kids, g-babies, momma, daddy, sisters, cousins, aunties, and uncles! I miss the laughter, and the stories!Please go away Corona Virus!
@JReecerSports I agree! She definitely deserves some recognition! She plays well inside the paint and outside. I am proud of her and am glad that I've had the opportunity to watch her this year. I'm looking forward to watching her on the court in the future!
