Any #TeachEcon people notice low grades this Spring? I had a LOT of missing grades from students. Check out https://t.co/xwAz0NDFK8 to see how many. Students missing 3 or fewer assignments averaged 80.3%, those missing 4+ averaged 69%. How can we communicate that this matters?
Great news: The US economy isn't in a recession. GDP expanded at a 2.6% annual rate in the third quarter.
That was better than the 2.4% gain economists were expecting and more than reverses the 0.6% drop in the second quarter (via

@Dave_Clark1838@POTUS source: https://t.co/ObBmKNjdxS it's a pretty low bar comparing to 2020 or 2021. Without those years, we're at an all-time high deficit.
I'm disappointed to see that protesters @PSU could not be peaceful tonight when demonstrating against #UncensoredAmerica event. It would be nice if two sides could have civil discourse. https://t.co/tLaxWzRN8X
@ifindkarma you might want to rethink your take on price gouging. Check out https://t.co/hlxe5AlSC8 where you can learn why gouging is good. Please no hateful replies until you educate yourself. Then we can talk.
@Jabaluck so what if I buy a gun brand new, then sell it to someone else who sells it to a 3rd person, then the gun is stolen and used to kill 1 person...am I liable? What about the person I sold it to, the final buyer, and the shooter?
@PSULiberalArts 2022 Graduation...see if you can guess which one is before, during, and at the end. Students leave after walking across the stage and so do audience members. It's completely selfish.
For some reason, I took a few typing tests tonight. They're each a little different. My low score was 75wmp, of course I'm posting my highest score. Average about 85wpm. I should see how fast my voice-to-text is (with and without corrections)
