My husband was in a pretty bad accident last week and I started receiving calls from an unknown number today telling me they needed to come TODAY to pick up our car it has been deemed a total loss. 1/

It's still at the repair facility and @USAA_help hasn't called us or asked permission to share our contact information. When I went into the claim portal they decided today that the car was a total loss but didn't bother to call us. 2/

How is it legal for @ChildrensNatl to ask if you are a child’s “biological parent” in order to make an appointment. Not “are you the child’s legal parent” specifically requiring“biological parent”…

Why? “Not just anyone can bring a child”

Guarantee that where the military moves us our families will have medical care, while not being detrimental to a career. There is work to be done but it must be collaborative.

It feels as if senior leadership still doesn’t understand what it is that #EFMP #Families need. The app is improving & Mr. Grossman @dcs_g9 is one of the few asking for our input. QOL issues such as spouse unemployment, childcare, food insecurity affect us too—for different reasons.

🔥 Backpay doesn't pay the co-pay for a prescription on the first day of a missed paycheck,

🔥 Backpay doesn't pay for gas for the 1.5-hour drive I have to take EACH WAY to take my child to medical appointments for her healthcare that can not safely be rescheduled,

🔥 Backpay doesn't pay the parking garage fees I have to pay every time I take her to the hospital for these appointments or, God forbid, take her to the Emergency Room.

@Rose_Lori @JohnCena Also fun fact—Fort Myer, VA is tearing down all enlisted family housing with the exception of the SMA & SEAC. The one enlisted house that will remain standing has “excessive mold” and is inhabitable with the current tenants being forced to move out (G2 SGM I believe)

@Rose_Lori @JohnCena It’s hard sometimes to remember small accidents seem bad in the moment but if you take a deep breath and count to four internally you’ll probably realize it’s funnier than not. (Says the mom who ran to the bathroom and found the kids found the flour and “made it snow”).
