I don't expect a call from @LouisvilleMayor about a much needed budget increase for the @JeffCountySWCD. This admin has made it clear that investing in social services like it and TARC is not a priority. Louisville deserves better.
The election is coming! One of the smaller but still important races is for @JeffCountySWCD board, on which I currently serve. 4 seats are open. 6 people are running. My endorsements are:
1. Baron Lee - @baron4swcd
2. Elizabeth Everhart
3. Sarah Beth Sammons
4. David Kaelin

Comrade @Pabdrelo✊🌹defending TARC before Metro Council. “Councilmember Kramer said ‘the ridership doesn’t match the expense.’ That’s not how this works. Public Transit is a public service. It’s not a business, it’s not here to make money. It is a service the city provides.”👏💯

If the message, policy and passion of this campaign moved you, every organizer and every platform plank springs from the Democratic Socialists of America. A better world is possible, & we have nothing to lose but our chains. Let's get to work

After a day off of the internet to catch our collective breath, retrieve yard signs from polling locations, hold our children and spouses, answer hundreds of text messages, and assess the new horizon, there’s only one thing to say:
We won.
Developers flooded tens of thousands into this race to tip the scales towards a candidate that would hold the door open as they destroy our natural resources. The working people of Louisville know that @jpforlou will stand against them and voted accordingly.
