This week SAMS students used a 1918 trench warfare wargame using miniatures to refight the Battle of Champagne with the objective of learning how infiltration tactics and elastic defense might inform offense and defense respectively today. The overall focus was to explore maneuver warfare in a highly lethal battlefield.
