Allow me to clarify something right from the onset - what you are looking at now cannot be called a theme for the year, rather, JESUS is the theme of our lives. Beyond Him, there is nothing.

In the year that has passed we had the very same man coming in the Order of Melchizedek, but now we are going straight to Him. We are going to touch Him, see Him and behold Him.

Why so much emphasis? It's not because His coming is imminent, but because your understanding of Him determines your understanding of everything else. When you seek to understand Jesus, no subject is left out because without Him nothing was made. This will help you to desire to understand the Creator behind creation.

Belshazzar was found wanting, yet he never felt himself being weighed. He was seated as king, convinced he belonged there, but Heaven had already measured him and found him too light for the throne. His disobedience had stripped him of the “weight” required to remain significant.

This principle stretches beyond kingship or ministry; it applies to every sphere of life.
Every throne, assignment, or position of influence carries its own weight requirement. A business role demands integrity and discipline. A marriage requires patience, sacrifice, and faithfulness. Leadership in any field asks for responsibility and resilience. If you want to sustain a career, a calling, a family, or even friendships, you cannot remain “light.” Heaven measures more than your desire, it measures your discipline.

So the question is not only “What do I want to achieve?” but also “What weight is required for me to carry it?” Growth in wisdom, consistency in prayer, character in conduct, diligence in work; these are the weights that qualify you for greater responsibility. Desire may open the door, but only weight keeps you on the seat.
