#sSMMWITC2019@marytripp I think that the overall goal of these chapters was to use social media in a positive way and respect your followers. If you can't treat your followers right, how will you gain more.

I learned that timing seems to make a huge difference in SMM. The major platforms have different times when they are most used. Obviously, you would want to post at these times. Before this I never really thought about it that way.
@KeithDewars@marytripp Isn't it crazy what you can learn from listening. I think that as a company if you can listen to and be flexible with your audience you will be more successful than most.
@emilyleplavy@marytripp I also learned this lesson. You must adapt to your audience and the market. There is a lot to be learned just from the process of listening.

In chapter 2 I learned a lot about listening and interacting with the followers. If you can't listen to the people who follow you then it will be hard to get sales. There is a big process of listening to your audience. I thought that was very interesting.
@emilyleplavy@marytripp I think this is super important and it seemed like a lot of people thought so. It could really cost the business I. The long run if you spend a lot of time on social media marketing.
@KeithDewars@marytripp I also talked about this because I feel that there are a lot of impacts too making sure your business is successful. If it takes to long it could eat into the successfulness of the business.

As I read chapter one it seemed to stick out to a lot of people is the myth that social media marketing is free. It costs technology and the time of your life it takes up. If you think about it, it costs time spent on the business itself, negative impact.

The biggest key point for me was being involved with you audience and followers. Without them, you social media accounts would be nothing! Be strategic when creating posts is another big tip.
@KeithDewars@marytripp That's a great tip. I also thought this was a very improtant point in this book. I thought building relationships was a huge key point in the book. @marytripp#SMMWITC2019
