Engaged π
EXACTLY. I'm not an active tabletop player and have only painted a few minis. I enjoy the media like the books, shows, video games, etc alot more. But of course someone is going to screencap this and call me a tourist and use it as a SEE SEE!!
Warhammer is a multi media franchise
Being a fan of it doesn't require engaging with every aspect of it, just as much as you enjoy. Someone can like the books and games but have no interest in tabletop, or any combo of these.
I think this idea of wanting people to spend hundreds on plastic to be a "real fan" is absurd. You should engage with as much as you can given your means.
@RaymundoTheIII Tbf though, Cato drew a blade on a Inquisitors throat and the SW did engage the Inquisition to a degree where the Raven Guard just said "No" and defied Inquisitorial orders and disappeared and the Inquisition never followed up.
@RaymundoTheIII It will never not be hilarious to me that only first founding chapters have stared down the inquisition and have walked away.

Raven Guard
Kratos, a immortal god of war, needed a magical box and tons of magical weapons to defeat Zues.
Isaac Clarke, a mere mortal man, only needed a Plasma Cutter and Kenisis and the raging human spirit to defeat Zues.
@vanderscha57145@missiah_xvi He didn't mess with the original deliverance veterans, only those who came after the Raptor project. The Primaris Raven Guard pretty much don't have those issued anymore. I'm aware, my account is named after him.
You should look into the Nev brothers, underrated charecters.
I like how in lore, Raven Guard are described as more lean and wiry than other Astartes and often mocked by other Astartes but yet when they throw knuckles, the Dark Angels called it a "Pleaseant sight to behold" (During the Thramas Crusade)
