the dog that hasn't barked at this world cup is the new automated offside system and how much less time we are all wasting arguing about refereeing instead of talking about the games
they've more or less solved offside with technology and it's a huge upgrade to the experience
@josip_jovII@AndrewDBailey I’m pretty casual, mostly watch the playoffs, but I’m probably at least in the 75th percentile for general population. Keep up with scores and enjoy the hoop collective podcast. Mainly tune in to nuggets games
@JezCorden Unpopular opinion, but could be some necessary market correction from a bloated industry. I really liked the idea of Xbox having a wide variety of studios and using gamepass and big hitters to subsidize the little guys. Allowed creative projects like keeper, but not sustainable
@SynthPotato Why does that translate to talent lost? Those devs can still form studios and work right? Every independent studio needs funding from somewhere to make their games. These studios made good games, but didn’t make money
@chrisbarra22@Statford_Bridge Him being one of the first names on the team sheet is an indictment on the squad, not a boon for Cucu. He’s very flat-footed, cannot defend once the ball gets to his own half, and offers little in possession other than crashing the box late
