Everyone’s favorite thing on the internet right now is people from all over the world coming to the US for the World Cup and realizing that it’s actually pretty great.
That most of the people you encounter in the real world are welcoming and wonderful.
That the food is delicious, the experiences are unique and memorable, the stadiums are spectacular and so on.
That, despite its flaws (and there are plenty of flaws) the pros outweigh the cons.
But it took people actually being here to realize all of that, because social media, the news or word of mouth has painted a different picture.
I don’t find it to be any coincidence that this is happening in front of us right now, because we’ve never needed the reminder more.
Whether it’s the countries that these people are coming from, cities in our own country or even just different cultures inside the city you live in, most of the negativity you have been fed is BS.
And you won’t know that until you experience it for yourself.
@HarrisonWind@DNVR_Nuggets Have to disagree with you on this. Nuggets don’t play defense like the Knicks, and don’t have the drive anymore like they did prior to the championship.
Help me get a response from the @Rockies I don’t have a ton of followers but it would be great if you can Repost or share with the Rockies. @MLB#Bucketlist
@Rockies I have a bucket list item of throwing out the first pitch of a game. Celebrating my 40th birthday on August 27th, not playing at Coors but any chance I can throw out the first pitch the Guardians series the weekend of the 21st??? Please DM me thank you.

Sam Presti on the physicality of the playoffs:
"You didn't hear us complaining. We're not complaining. We just want to know what the rules are, and we'll play by those."
@OldfordRyan@DNVR_Avalanche I just have a hard time when you see the same losses to the same type of teams and nothing changes from a system standpoint. That’s my biggest issue
@AdoHernandez27 Guess you just like regular season hockey then. Hopefully they don’t play Dallas or Vegas next playoffs maybe they will win it all again if that happens.
@OldfordRyan@DNVR_Avalanche I guess my issue is in those years it has been the same problems and get beat by the same type of team. Whatever Dallas and Vegas does can beat this system. So only hope is if there not in the playoffs or you don’t play them like in 22 and then win
@AdoHernandez27 So now tha Bednar is staying, What are we doing here. So we’re just going to have another good regular season and then get bounced in the playoffs like the last 8 out of 9 years. The power play is going to be the same the system is going to be the same, what’s even the point.

It’s getting really old and tiring to hear every single sport complain about the playoffs system. Doesn’t matter @NHL@MLB@NBA@NFL College Basketball now college baseball. Even if the system changes guess what top teams will still lose.
It’s ok to move on from a coach
Sometimes a different/new voice is needed
Look at Vegas, 3 Stanley Cup Finals with 3 diff coaches
Bednar was great and did amazing things in COL but these Avs need a spark & they’ve already played the trade a piece of the core card #GoAvsGo
