the catholic church is an organization that responds to child sexual abusers by transferring them to new churches and covering up the abuse but considers an adult man married to a man a fireable offense.

The hs English teacher who started me on the path to the English degree I'll receive in a few weeks didn't have his teaching contract renewed after someone sent his marriage certificate to the Archdiocese, calling out his gay marriage. He taught there 23 years. @AlterHS: Shame.
