In 1963 AL Gov. George Wallace proclaimed “Segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.” Now, 61 years later the Alabama legislature is still heeding his call, this time with legislation to prohibit DEI programs and teaching “divisive concepts.” But these students don’t want any part of it and showed up at the Statehouse to turn Wallace’s words around.
