Impulsado por @OEA_DDOT, este acuerdo prevé aumentar la capacidad de los países de la región en el uso de herramientas tecnológicas, inteligencia de datos y estrategias operativas transfronterizas basadas en evidencia para combatir a la delincuencia organizada transnacional.
El Secretario General de #OEA, Albert Ramdin @SG_OEA_OAS , destacó que “para mejorar la situación sobre el terreno, necesitamos trabajar desde una perspectiva operativa entre los países afectados, y esta es la manera de lograrlo mediante la prestación de asistencia concreta”.

.@OAS_Official and @ProjectTraverse 🇺🇸 signed today a cooperation agreement to strengthen the capacities of OAS Member States in the fight against organized crime, particularly human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
Led by @OEA_DDOT, this agreement aims to enhance countries’ ability to use technological tools, data intelligence, and evidence-based cross-border operational strategies to combat transnational organized crime.
The OAS Secretary General, Albert Ramdin @SG_OEA_OAS, emphasized: “To improve the situation on the ground we need to work from an operational perspective between the countries which are affected, and this is the way to do it by providing concrete assistance.”
