@Coel_Jathro@sagelovebars That isn’t just “not having one after a while” the man is quite literally starving himself and draining himself for several weeks of as much fat and water as possible to visibly show his muscle mass
This is quite literally torture for the average person
You would have to win the national championship every single year for the next 150 years to max out your coach in College Football 27 for free. Or you can just pay EA ninety nine dollars and ninety nine cents.
I own this game and I'm not touching it until this gets fixed. It's Dynasty mode, single player, I'm not playing against anyone, and last year there was a setting for exactly this, Fast, Fastest, and now it's gone, deleted, replaced with a price tag on the same thing.
Road to Glory got it worse. Taking a created player from a 50 overall to an 80 overall runs about fifty bucks, against a coordinator who isn't even real.
A creator named @bordeauxyt, somebody who's defended this franchise for years, messaged an EA developer and asked if the fast settings got pulled on purpose. Got ghosted, not a yes, not a no, just nothing.
@NotTheExpertYT, another guy who's been fair to this franchise for years, called it heinous, and when your own defenders start reaching for that word, EA should be worried.
Who sits in a meeting and signs off on charging a grown man a hundred dollars to beat a computer faster?
I can't get there.
Ultimate Team, fine, that's always been pay to win, you know the deal. This one's different, call it what it is, a cover charge, a vig, and a valet fee, for a video game you play alone.
It's DISGUSTING, and the wildest part is they were betting nobody would actually sit down and do the math on a hundred and fifty years.

I want to play @EASPORTSCollege because I think the game seems really good apart from some big bug fixes with recruiting which we already know are coming… I don’t think it would be hard for EA to revert the anti-consumer changes they made to dynasty and RTG. If it’s only affecting a small percentage of the player base… why is it such a big deal then? EA should make the change and keep microtransactions out of these modes. If you want to have them in ultimate team, fine, I get that… but we don’t want them in our sandbox modes where the whole appeal is making it your world. There is an opportunity to DO THE RIGHT THING. If we don’t take a stand now… when does it end? This is only the first step. Are you not making enough off of game sales and ultimate team? Why try and bleed an extra 1% out of us if this is the reaction? #CFBPlayDontPay
EA has creators putting their reputations and relationships on the line and they still haven't responded.
So, who is going to help you market CFB 28? Good luck with that. Over a few dollars. Absolutely tone deaf. #CFBPlayDontPay
EA has completely missed the mark with the Coach XP system in College Football 27 Dynasty.
To reach Level 100, you need approximately 2.5 million XP.
A full National Championship run earns just:
3,750 XP
+12,500 XP with the CEO ability
= 16,250 XP total
That means you'd need 150+ Playoff seasons just to reach max level.
Think about that.
You're telling me I have to win over 150 playoff runs... or spend real money on Green Points?
This has no place in Dynasty mode.
Dynasty has always been about building a program over time not being pushed toward microtransactions to progress your coach.
@Poodle_YT@NotTheExpertYT
Yeah I fully support #CFBPLAYDONTPAY
As an ultimate team guy I spend a ton of money on the game every year but let’s not mess with the single player guys. Micro transactions in RTG or Dynasty is awful.
Gotta feel for Bordeaux. He was made to look like a fool when he reassured the dynasty community that micro transactions weren’t coming bc he was lied to.
CFB is meant to be enjoyed by everyone and even tho I’m someone who spends a lot on the game that doesn’t mean everyone should. While we’re at it…maybe make ultimate team more affordable too. But most importantly leave the single player guys alone and keep micro transactions away.
Definitely worth sharing @bordeauxyt's message here.
EA back to their typical slimey ways, taking away already existing quality of life features and offering them back for a price.
They're hoping you wouldn't notice, hoping they can keep getting away with it in the future.
DO NOT pay for this garbage and they deserve all the negative publicity for this that we, the fans can generate.
#cfbplaydontpay
Sneaking micro transactions into single player modes lets me know everything i need to about where EA wants to take both football titles in the future
That’s why it’s now or never to make a change. Taking the game in that direction is going to ruin all of the support and love you have built from this community. Do what’s right @EASPORTSCollege
