@TheFootbalGuru@HLTCO I can appreciate teams having to grow and earn a way in. As a Nufc fan, I’d love that expedited, lol.
Removing the bias of my club, I at least want something where the rules allow clubs to gain ground when they’ve had successful seasons. Right now you hit a wall and plateau
@TheFootbalGuru@HLTCO And meanwhile anytime someone like a villa or nufc get close, their best players get harvested which compounds the growth again
While those sales will make room for more spending, it just becomes cyclical
Replacement is good? Have to sell
Replacement shit? Club falls off
@TheFootbalGuru@HLTCO Slowing growth beneath even further while still widening the gap at the top. They have no ceiling and the rules as they are - unless you get some unicorn team that wins (like Leicester) and manages to hold onto everyone and sustain success (unlikely) - prevent catching them
@TheFootbalGuru@HLTCO So over years, they were winning, then eventually tv deals started and those teams grew even faster as they were on top at the time.
The rules now have bottle necked everyone else so as you try to “sustainably grow”, those teams are still out growing you, and buying everyone up
Still massively impressive for Canada to take strides in this World Cup. Truly were the better team for the majority of this game.
Ultimately we need to get better at clinically finishing our big chances. Who knows what happens if Kone doesn’t get hurt and Davies is fit #canmnt
Hab ein wenig die Befürchtung, sollte Belgien die USA aus dem Turnier werfen, dass Trump dann Deutschland mit Sanktionen bestraft, weil er zu dämlich ist, die Flaggen auseinanderzuhalten.
