Tell us about College Football Experience?
I committed to St. Andrews University of Laurinburg, North Carolina in 2019. That 2019-2020 football season was my first season as a college athlete and came in with over 60 players in my recruiting class. My first fall camp was a tough one because we had over 12 guys at the linebacker positioning fighting for 4 spots on the field with 3-4 of them being upper class. Once, the season came along I gained the second-string spot for the Sam backer and played every special team. My first college game was what I expected to be sept for the speed of the game and how fast college plays are. I finally got the starting spot after the 2nd game of the season but with my first start as a freshman the first series of defense I got injured and was going to be put for 4-6 weeks and I did come back in 4 weeks at the end of the season and the same thing would happen again in my sophomore season but I never gave up hope in my college career. With the people around me supporting me I trained as hard as I could for my junior not wanting another injury to happen again and became faster and stronger than I ever was. Junior was tough because we had a big freshman class and got a new head coach, so things were shaking that season and didn’t finish the way we wanted but fought to the very end. I finished my junior year as a first-team all-conference player and became one of the top 15 linebackers in NAIA. My senior I finish as a first-team all-conference player again and breaking the single season record for tackles with me having 114 tackles. My college career experience showed me that a season or multiple seasons might not go your way but sometimes you have to put your head down and just grind it out.
When you look back at your college career what is one game that stands out from the rest and brought out the overall best in you as a player?
One game that would stand out the most would be the 2021-2022 season when we won against Kentucky Christian Knights to win the trophy back. We have this trophy that represents the best Knight team in our conference against Kentucky Christian and we have only won it twice were they have won it three times. But that year’s game was something different. Kentucky had a freshman running back that was a beast and had been dominating the run game in the conference. So, our goal was to stop the run because that’s what they relied on most because their quarterback wasn’t the best thrower. First quarter happen and first series I get a interception and we have the ball on their 30 yard-line. But the next series the freshman broke a run down the side like for over a 50-yard gain. So, they had the ball at our 20 yard-line, and we managed to get them to fourth and 1. They decided to go for the fourth and 1 with a half-back stretch and I proceed to smoke the running back for a two-yard lost and at that moment I knew we were going to win this game. I would do this again later in the game the same way, but the energy was crazy because we haven’t won a game all season and I wanted to let me guys know that I will always fight every play till the last play of the game. We were in dark times, and I just wanted to give my guys some light and there is still something worth fighting for.
When you look back on your college playing career, can you name a time where you overcame adversity and what did you learn from the ordeal?
The time I overcame adversity is when I got injured back-to-back seasons with the same injury. I didn’t think football was for me anymore and I was doing okay in class but not my best and thought of dropping out of school to just go to work. But I made a commitment to the school and my team, also my mom and girlfriend didn’t want me to give up on a dream because of a injury. So, I didn’t and if I had, I wouldn’t be where I am today as a player and student.
When you look at your style of play what would be your biggest trait you possess and what is one area you are always improving on a daily basis?
My biggest traits would be communication and awareness to my other backer, and you would see that on film because I’m always pointing or something at a formation or a pull or a line man getting read to pull. Without those two traits I would never have been able to flow smoothly in game with my backer beside me and never been on page with one another and that is key at linebacker.
What do you look for when watching game film? And what would you like draft scouts to look at when watching your game film?
When I watch film, I look for tendencies of players, such as a running back drying his gloves with a towel before he gets the ball every time, or offensive linemen stances and give there hands are heavy during pass or run, or what receiver routes they like to run on different downs. I would like to see draft scoot look at my thought process behind each play and recognition behind pass or run. Where ball flow is going and how I call out pulls and point to my other backer.
How do you stand out from other draft prospects at your position?
I stand out from others by just my mentality and work ethic. I will out work everyone for that starting spot or I take it personal when an offensive runs the ball to my side of the field. I always have that ship on my shoulder when it comes to this game I love.
If you could compare yourself to any current pro football athlete, who would it be and why?
I would compare myself to Patrick Queen from the Baltimore Ravens because of the ability to see plays before they happen and not afraid to make a play. Also, his quickness to move sideline and sideline.
What is your final pitch to pro football general managers and draft scouts?
My final pitch would be your getting a guy who has been through the struggle, a guy who has been through hell and doesn’t mind going through it again to get better at something or become wiser. A guy who would bring a addicted mentality to a team, that will never back down from a fight no matter how big or smaller. A guy that just needs one chance to prove himself.

Had a great official visit at @StAndrewsFB. Learned a lot about NAIA and what SAU has to offer. Thank you Coach @rcurtin29 for the invite. Thanks @coach_oskie_21 for taking the time after the visit to walk me through your philosophy, vision, and approach to the WR position.
