Phantom vibration was in full effect during my disconnect. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

To disconnect I had to refrain from habits that resulted from muscle memory (turning on the TV, grabbing my laptop, etc). #eme4390m2021

Using the day of/after completing my final project for Digital Identity gave me a lot of time to reflect on my biggest takeaways. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

The most difficult part of disconnecting for me was avoiding YouTube and music since I explore and try to find new interests. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

Disconnecting for a full day is refreshing to come out of. Social media feels like less of a habit/obligation. #eme4390m2021

Will be away from the digital world starting tomorrow after Canvas tasks for the day are complete ✌️ #eme4390m2021 #OneDayDisconnect

https://t.co/fJfLDb0NEw The scary part about the app generation for me is that it may be difficult for someone to realize and take responsibility for possibly being app-dependent. #eme4390m2021

https://t.co/xpgVEJe7AB Analyzing the creativity of children's drawings over the last 20 years is an interesting source of data. It's amazing the conclusions you can draw from ideas like this. #eme4390m2021

https://t.co/hGuJBX6FWw The fact that gaming isn't only entertainment but a means of developing strategic and creative skills is important. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

https://t.co/N2eXBzNkr9 The collection-assimilation hypothesis is very interesting — we don't take our association with groups lightly. #eme4390m2021

https://t.co/UcZmUsHDYP Seems to be a recurring theme that the medium of social interaction isn't the problem, but can easily be blamed. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

It seems like we tend to forget the extent to which we can continue to shape society on a daily basis — innovation can take place with the smallest changes. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

https://t.co/UALZkVmW0G A major takeaway I have from this is the question of how we'd construct society if it were to start anew. #eme4390m2021

[Auston @AustonGonzo]

https://t.co/hDvECI6oR4 It's interesting and ironic how easy it is to manipulate data to do just about anything we would like it to do. Data can easily lose its meaning when we take this route and don't try to account for biases. #eme4390m2021
