@chambleebrandel Course knowledge is one thing. In Rory’s case, he has a lot of it. But it does not guarantee a win. Those who say Rory had an unfair advantage don’t understand that he still had to execute for four tournament rounds under tremendous pressure. Don’t think they’ll ever understand.
Today a couple of guys saw me on the course. They were on another fairway and I hear one of them say, “I mean she looks like a pro. But she also looks like she could be 15.” 😀
Watching the US Open is so funny because you’re watching tennis then bam. It’s Al Roker. More tennis then bam. It’s Anna Wintour. More tennis then bam. It’s Ludacris.
@timmytVA@Mike_kim714 Not really. We’re usually playing a scramble and gunning for birdie on every hole as a team. It’s also a day dedicated to sponsors and guests so haven’t really encountered anyone like that.
@GatesGrainger@Mike_kim714 Palos Verdes. Met the chef there when I played in the college event. He’s great and player dining/hospitality is awesome there.
@JRBayArea10@Mike_kim714 The tour is making an effort to speed up play, but it’s still tough to execute. A lot of different reasons why (e.g., course set up/difficulty, what’s at stake, weather conditions, etc.). Both LPGA and PGA have PoP issues.
@jonmallard@Mike_kim714 Haven’t played that many majors yet.
Got to play St Andrews last year which was an amazing experience. Erin Hills was also a treat. Really looking forward to KPMG at Hazeltine next year.
