Exactly 2 months on in the same spot & whilst the forecasted wetter than average spring has only so far delivered 60% of average 🌧 the crops have held on well with good grain fill on the mild Oct to date. Today’s heat will turn things pretty quickly.

Another vessel completed @ SCS & bound for Indo. 30k in 3.9 days & a huge effort from @GrainPlains to virtually clear the site (ahead of rain 🤞). To cap off the week, today is the battle between the Quadra sponsored Mallala Magpies & Hummocks WE. Good luck to both teams

We beat the rain this morning just in time finishing the Lan Bao Hai ex. SCS Osborne loaded with #barley. A big thanks to @GrainPlains & @brad_griff86 for a late final push on Friday night clearing a bunker to get it completed.

Some good falls over SA in the past 36 hours. 20mm between Mallala and Balak of which was well received after a couple of 30 degree days prior. Various growth stage of which just caught the #lentils in time of earlier hurricane v hallmark (some multiple seeds per pod on fill)
