Hit .289 before suffering a hand injury. But he continued to pitch and led the team in innings (36.1), ERA (3.28) and strikeouts (31).

A guy who’s willing to do anything to help his team.

Went 4-1 with a 3.92 ERA. Fanned 25 and walked four in 25 innings. Hit .316 while playing short and second.

A steady presence on the field and in the dugout, and a kid who knows the game.
