“I’ve watched you call trends years out. Watched you ‘guess’ your way through engineering that should eat teams of PhDs alive.” She shrugged, “Either you’re the luckiest person alive, or you’re pulling from a well the rest of us can’t reach.”
@EntradaBooks Writing a new book, listening to the Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban in Dolby Atmos, studying Sound FX Textbook. So, 3 books are on my plate right now.
Here's a rough image of the one I'm writing.
@thedankoe This is a very hard ask when you're an author, narrator, and audio engineer. My life's work is complete consumed within the confounds of my computer.
@TheRealDudja Yes, it's rude to those around you who don't want to hear your personal drama. And it cuts the audio quality down for the person you're talking to. Unless you're doing a group conversation, this is a hard don't do it.
@KindlePromos@GrimCalebWilcox Has anyone read the blurb for this book?
Grim's blurb reads AI bold and true with every key indicator in short order.
And crazy enough... the sample reads unedited AI slop.
Not even on my KU acct. would I get this. Good advertising though!
Why can't AI assistants produce the answer to a simple problem that I have?
Why do I have to come up with the answer when AI is supposed to be more advanced than human intelligence?
Why do they think building an advanced computer and AI system complex?
It's not that difficult!
@elonmusk Grok keeps telling me that my ideas are too advanced for modern science and tech and he can't answer my questions or help me work through the problems I'm creating.
Fix now, please...
Grok needs a superhuman brain and more access to physical experimentation, more than AI chips!
@mrmikeMTL ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tank, walla-walla, bing bang!
Is that human enough?
If not, you now got the witch doctor stuck in your head... you're welcome.
This explains me to a tee.
But I also can't always focus on one project at a time because I can't always record when I need to and I can't move on until the recording is finished.
I feel like I'm in a devil's snare.
Your attention works fine. You don't need to "fix" it. You just don't have a target that makes it easy to focus for months on end. You don't have a vision so strong that everything else becomes boring.
@Agronommejean Funny thing is my brother in law has been doing that since the 90s and said thats how it’s done on a job site when lathes aren’t portable and time is money.
This is not new, and it’s commonly used in construction.
@jdepp_icon I respond when it's appropriate. I write so some days responding to posts don't feel as important as creating the worlds around me.
It's about living in the moment and creating the world.
@Johnnydepp3407 You're very deep but you know how to have fun when the time comes.
Everyone should do this, the world would be a better place if they did.
@DanielSmit74145 A hook isn't about you; it's about the person who you're reaching out to and the way you tell your story.
Should the questions be "who will relate to this, why would they follow my story, what draws them in now?"
@DanielSmit74145 I believe that the heart of stopping the scroll is to hook them with your story. That's why I'm writing this book. Thanks for the feedback.
