I got my COVID booster and flu shot at the same time yesterday. I feel like garbage. 😵‍💫 But I will take 2-3 days of feeling awful if it means I'm less likely to get seriously ill. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with my couch and my ibuprofen.

Just started reading book 5 of The Wheel of Time and figured I should give the show a shot. Stopped after two episodes. Some of the choices they made were baffling and clumsy, and it really felt like a CW show at times. And confusing for newcomers. Gonna stick with the books.

Omg, I'm sitting in home office, having come home to the Kirby vacuum people doing a demo and giving my husband the hard-sell. I'm having such a hard time keeping from laughing, because they are going to be very disappointed.

Test turkey before Thanksgiving. My husband has been on a quest for years to make the tastiest turkey for the least amount of effort. Kinda weird to have a roast turkey without any of the other fixin's, though.

Lol, my husband is great. I got diagnosed with shoulder impingement on both shoulders and my doctor said not to reach out to the side and back. But my muscle memory for my drinks on the side table had me doing just that (whoops!) So Matt solved the problem. :P

Finished "The Eye of the World" and immediately ordered eight more books (I have the first 3, so that'll bring me up to 11 for The Wheel of Time). I know what I'm doing for the rest of the summer.

#LaCocineradeCastamar was a fun watch on #Netflix that scratched that sexy historical drama itch. There were a few superfluous subplots and the ending was a bit rushed, but it was a fun time and is a complete story. I'd love to read the novel if it gets an English translation.

Second Moderna shot is no joke: knocked me on my butt a lot harder than the first one. It's been about 27 hours and the inflammatory response sucks. I can basically watch Netflix and nap at this point. :P
