Just before Midnight on Wednesday several people on the Kenai Peninsula reported hearing a "deep explosion" sound and/or seeing a "bright green" meteor or fireball lighting up the sky. A seismologist in Homer said it was likely caused by a meteor that exploded in the atmosphere.
