1996: can't use the internet without your phone
2010: the internet stretches before you like the vast expanse of a new frontier. You dance through it, unhindered. Unburdened. You have never heard of 2-factor authentication.
2026: can't use the internet without your phone
My general rule for feeling mentally well is understanding that the more I judge others negatively, the more I anticipate negative judgement from others. Practicing kindness and leniency and forgiveness has no guarantee of reciprocation, but it puts you in a better state of mind.

If you think that most rape victims immediately go to the police, you know nothing about rape, victims, or the police. And that ignorance is a choice but so is using it to publicly mock & discredit rape victims. And that reveals a personal investment that women should note.
I dated a guy and I’m sure we exchanged hundreds of sweet & loving texts
Then I ended things
He wouldn’t take “no” for an answer
Sat outside my apartment. Told me I would “be his” forever
We can withdraw consent any time
If you persist past that point, you’re a predator
Every time I see another poxy AI Video, or another fucking monologue written in Chat GPT, I can't believe this is what we've chosen to exchange our Trees, Lakes, Nature & humanity for. We Swapped out the need to reduce our Carbon Footprint, for a speed Run to extinction instead
I remember a story I once read about a girl who pleaded with her teacher not to tell her Dad that she'd been caught kissing another girl behind the bike shed. The school insisted.
The next day the girl had a fractured swollen jaw.
Violating kid's privacy feeds abuse. Don't.
Getting so sad watching women share their stories of sexual trauma on here to try to get leftist men to understand how common this is. I think the truth is they know. They don’t care. They don’t think it’s that bad and they don’t think men deserve to face consequences for it
Today is one of those days where I'm wondering how many men who have committed sexual assault still think of that encounter as basically consensual and would never consider themselves predators.
The problem is that our society is overly effusive of men who do the barest minimum of being a somewhat decent person and it makes their heads so big that they lose complete sight of the actual work that needs to be done to combat male violence against women.
