Well… this escalated quickly. 😂

We started out fixing an old Ford Capri.

Now apparently we’re making T-shirts too.

The first Built.Fixed.Driven Capri shirt has landed, based around the very car you’ve been watching us bring back to life.

We’ve got the samples in, we’ve checked the quality, and we’re properly pleased with how they’ve turned out.

So if you fancy wearing a bit of the Capri project yourself, they’re ready to go.

One of our guys has always had a soft spot for Tatra trucks. We love the fact they’re engineered so differently to almost everything else — backbone chassis, swinging half-axles, air-cooled diesels and that proper heavy-duty, built-for-anything feel. They’re unusual, over-engineered and full of character, which is exactly the sort of machinery we like around here. 🫶🏻

💧 When was the last time your classic had a proper coolant flush?

Old coolant, rust and sludge can quietly build up inside the system and cause problems you really don’t want.

Jody gets stuck into the Capri’s cooling system and gives it the attention it’s been waiting years for.

Cooling system day on the Capri🔧💧

With the old radiator out, we’ve taken the opportunity to give the cooling system a proper flush before the new setup goes back in.

Years of sitting doesn’t do coolant passages any favours, so we’re clearing out as much old coolant, rust and sediment as possible before fitting the new hoses, radiator and electric fan setup.

Not the most glamorous job on the build, but exactly the sort of thing that needs doing properly if we want this 1983 Ford Capri 2.0S to be reliable once it’s back on the road.

And yes… apparently it takes three people to supervise a coolant flush. 😂
