People are starting to see the ramifications from #LongCovid. Bribing them with their own money is useless, when they are too sick to go anywhere anyway. Feeling even more isolated than before. 6/7
Educators, childcare, those trying to raise the next generation have classes that are dwindling. Trying to keep multiple balls in the air, but it’s fine, who needs support? No need to worry about classroom sizes, children getting sick has taken care of that. 5/7
#onted
Medical staff are overrun. Exhausted. They walk-out into the world, after trying to save it, only to be further let down by their leaders, their neighbours, their community, seeing the things that make their jobs so hard in the first place. 4/7

#Ableism has never been more prevalent. Imagine walking around knowing those around you don’t care if you live or die. Do you know what feeling expendable does to one’s #mentalhealth? 3/7

You want to talk about #mentalhealth? People have lost their will. They no longer believe they can make a difference. They have succumbed to the fact they will get sick, but have no idea what that really means. Giving up has become contagious. 2/7
“We’re going to get it anyway, what’s the point?” I blame @fordnation for this narrative. Saving beds rather than preventing people from needing them. People are giving up after having done everything they can to prevent illness. 1/7
#Covid#MentalHealthAwareness
I was asked by family and friends to share my letter to the @TCDSB. I think it is sad that in 2021 this has to be a vote. That inclusivity isn’t just a given.
