By the end of it, Corona will be one of the biggest scams in the human history as we know it. And Mutahi Kagwe with all his PR stunts will wish he never stepped into that docket in the first place. #Sonko
Kenya has introduced a new law that changes how trusts are created, registered, managed and monitored.
We have done a deeper analysis of the new law.

Siku hizi almost every Kenyan has a flag, whistle ama vuvuzela. Modern day politicians have turned wananchi into freedom fighters. This mama was afraid to come out because of goons, but she made sure her effort was counted.
I am beggining to like sifunas style
His agenda is not based on Tribalism orethnicity, infact its evident no one cares what tribe he is from or what age group he is in
Theres barely any money being given to people to ‘show’ support for him, unlike other campaigners like gachagua, and kasongo
Theres no chaos,if theres any,its from those intimidated by his sudden emergence,it was unexpected and they dont know what to do with him. They can only watch and wait for him to make a mistake, and the more they wait the closer we get to elections
He speaks as a person more interested in changing the vices happening, than he is interested in occupying any political seat
He speaks with purpose and intention
All eyes on sifuna. Wacha tuone
Kenya’s stock market is about to get more interesting.
The Capital Markets Authority has approved FourFront Management Limited, part of Standard Investment Bank, to live-test a short-selling platform in Kenya.
So, what does that actually mean?
For years, most investors at the NSE have largely made money in one direction: you buy a share, wait for the price to rise, then sell at a profit.
Short selling introduces another possibility — making money when you believe a share price is going to fall.
In simple terms, an investor can borrow shares, sell them at the current market price, then buy them back later if the price drops. The shares are returned to the lender, and the difference, after costs, becomes the investor’s profit.
Of course, it also comes with serious risk. If the share price rises instead of falling, the trader can lose money.
FourFront Management, working with the Central Depository & Settlement Corporation, started a six-month pilot of its Securities Lending and Borrowing platform on August 1, 2026, under the oversight of @CMAKenya and @cdsckenya.
Why does this matter?
Because it could make Kenya’s capital markets deeper and more sophisticated. Short selling can improve liquidity, increase trading activity, support better price discovery and give professional investors more ways to manage risk.
As @DonaldWangunyu, CEO of @FourFrontMgt and Executive Director at Standard Investment Bank, puts it:
“We didn’t just build another investment product. We’re helping build a new way to trade the Kenyan stock market, including the ability to profit when share prices fall.”
For an ordinary Kenyan investor, the bigger story is this: the NSE is slowly moving away from a market where you simply buy and wait, towards one with more advanced trading tools and strategies.
A new way to trade.
A new chapter for Kenya’s capital markets. @investwithSIB@sokodirectory

Not long ago, government bloggers were sharing pictures of maize in Galana Kulalu with narratives of how Kenyan government is set to harvest 100 million bags of maize.
They told us that for the first time, under UDA, Kenya is going to be a net exporter of maize.
But now, the government is saying Rafiki ya Chivayo will import 25 million bags of maize into the country.
So what happened to the 100 million bags from Galana? They surely can’t blame the rains for that too!
The BEST generation of men to ever exist for women are modern men.
Our grandfathers waited OUTSIDE the delivery room. We are INSIDE the room, holding your hand, rubbing your back, watching you scream at us, supporting you.
Our grandfathers married VIRGINS. We are marrying PROSTITUTES, OnlyFans whores with 50, 100 body counts and we still call them wives ans provided for them.
Our grandfathers married women who could COOK, CLEAN, slim and RAISE CHILDREN. We are marrying fat useless women who can't even boil rice or season chicken.
Our grandfathers married 18, 20, 22 year olds for youth and fertility. We are marrying 35, 40 year old GRANDMOTHERS and then spending $30,000 on IVF because their eggs are dead.
WE BROKE THE RULES FOR YOU.
WE BENT THE RULES FOR YOU.
WE DESTROYED EVERY TRADITION FOR YOU.
And it's still not enough.
Our fathers did 10% of what we do and got submissive, loyal, grateful wives.
We do 200% and get the most ENTITLED, SELFISH, LAZY, MENTALLY UNSTABLE, UNGRATEFUL, MASCULINE, DISRESPECTFUL wives in human history.
Our fathers were RIGHT. They knew exactly why you can't give modern women too much comfort and freedom.
Y'all don't deserve good men.
A guy bought a $1,800 Samsung TV and watched it for 3 years.
Netflix. YouTube. Sports. Movies. Every night. Same screen. Same picture. He thought it looked fine. He assumed that's just what a TV looks like.
His friend, a home theater installer who calibrates 200+ TVs a year across luxury homes came over to watch a fight one Saturday night. He sat on the couch, looked at the screen for about 5 seconds, and said:
"You're in Vivid mode."
"What's Vivid mode?"
"It's the picture setting Samsung puts on every TV so it pops under the fluorescent lights at Best Buy. Maximum brightness. Oversaturated colors. Artificial sharpness cranked to 50. It's designed to catch your eye on a showroom wall next to 60 other TVs not for watching content in a living room. You've been watching a Best Buy demo reel on your couch for 3 years."
He picked up the remote and started going through Settings.
"Your skin tones are orange. Your motion smoothing is making every movie look like a soap opera. The eco mode is dimming your brightness by 40% during dark scenes. The sharpness filter is adding digital noise to every frame. Your HDMI ports are blocking HDR from your streaming stick. Your TV is taking screenshots of your screen and selling your viewing data. And Bixby has been listening through the remote's microphone since the day you plugged this in."
He changed 9 settings in 11 minutes.
The guy looked at the screen and said "did you buy me a new TV while I wasn't looking?"
His friend said: "Same TV. Same panel. Same $1,800 you spent 3 years ago. Samsung builds incredible displays and then ships them with settings designed for a retail store, not your living room. Nobody tells you to change them because Samsung makes money from the defaults you leave untouched."
Here's every setting he changed 🧵
I discovered driving to Nairobi from Mombasa via Makindu, Wote, Katumani, Vota, Kyumbi and it made life easy. Try that route if you want to arrive early and also enjoy the adventurous journey.
