i GOTCHU AMY!!! quantum computing is still in its infancy- its a different method of computing as a whole but its not something that is going to replace our everyday computing

current computers use standard bits 1 or 0 aka ON or OFF. quantum computers are attempting to take advantage of quantum mech as a whole.

so instead of a standard bit of 1 or 0- they have qubits which are also a 1 or a 0 EXCEPT they have the unique ability to be in a superposition of both a 1 and a 0 at the same time.

in its current state is only better and faster at very specific tasks

quantum should not be confused with ai as quantum doesnt "learn"
