Isn’t farming a funny gig? One day your ready to throw in the towel, 2.5 weeks later your expectations have done a complete 180. The rain that came with the hail was more of a blessing Canola is the most resilient crop thanks to #gmo#technology#canola#skstorm#hail
Hey #AgTwitter people. Just a gentle reminder to not stand under the bin while unloading. Just cracked open a full bin to load the super b when she split right down the hopper. Got a few peas in my boots but I’m all good. Guess I’ll get out the grain vac now…
Together everyone achieves more! 🙌🏼 The Billings team continues to put in the hours to take off the crops at Camp 4 🌾 🇺🇸 While the Box Elder team travels North to help the Canadian farms with Harvest! 🇨🇦

We wrapped up #Harvest2021 on the Hoppins Farm with a liitle fun. The old masseys got the job done. Thanks to everyone who came and helped out. It truly was a fantastic day!!!
I can’t grow corn, and sometimes not even that good of wheat. At times I even think this is Hell. But I have some pretty views as I hike up the hillside back to my rig for the night.
Sask currently has the largest area at extreme fire risk. This encompasses all of the crop-growing regions... right as harvest is beginning.
To help prepare farmers for a fire-safe harvest, we've made a list of options to help prevent or manage a fire if it occurs [THREAD]⬇️
PSA: Just because someone else is spraying for flea beetles doesn’t *necessarily* mean you need to. Crop rotation, weed pressure, seeding date & treatment, bordering fields, & topography (ie the old sloughs that were just seeded through) all impact beetle presence & pressure.
Okay Mother Nature....it’s now time for your cooperation.
1. Rain.
2. Rain again.
3. Keep it above 0....well above 0.
Thanks.
