Heartbreaking. A Minneapolis family driving home from their son’s basketball game in their car with six kids, including a 6-month-old, was hit by tear gas & flash-bangs from ICE agents, leaving their baby struggling to breathe and hospitalized.
This is unacceptable. ICE is making our state less safe.
US citizen detained by ICE speaks out:
"They dragged me outside and pulled me into a headlock on the ground. I repeated, 'I'm a citizen. I have an ID.' The agent kept saying, 'That don't matter'... When I was inside my cell, I heard wailing, screaming.”
🚨BREAKING: ICE BUILT CELLS FOR U.S. CITIZENS.
Rep. James Walkinshaw says ICE didn’t just “accidentally” detain Americans - they prepared for it by DESIGNATING CELLS specifically for U.S. citizens.
Kristi Noem says ICE has not detained any U.S. citizens. That’s a fucking lie.
ICE detained a Navajo man for 4 hours after he identified himself, offered his Tribal ID, Certificate of Indian Blood, and birth certificate.
They told him he must be stealing someone’s identity and that they would “get his family next.”
As he described it: “I was treated as if we haven’t earned our place here. This is our place. This is beyond racism, they hate us like we were pests and rodents in their home, but this is OUR home, and always has been.”
It is against the Constitution and against basic human dignity to detain and arrest someone for the color of their skin.
ICE must be stopped and Secretary Noem removed from office.
ICE/Border Patrol don’t want you filming because they know they are breaking laws. They are trying everything possible to intimidate US citizens from documenting what they are doing. It’s important to not fall into the fear. https://t.co/08QUNwewi1
This is what bystanders should be doing. Telling the people being questioned their rights while documenting the ICE agents. The only way to hold them accountable for breaking the law is filming. https://t.co/42WhxG5c8C
🚨BREAKING: Border Patrol just illegally arrested a U.S. citizen… a TEENAGER… in Richfield, Minnesota.
The teen was working at Target when agents tackled him and arrested him, while his passport was in his pocket, fully identifying himself as a U.S. citizen.
None of it mattered.
Why? Because he looked Latino.
When a coworker asked who to call, he said, heartbreakingly: “my mom.”
Think about that. Your teenage son goes to work, and Border Patrol kidnaps him.
This isn’t an isolated incident. ICE and Border Patrol have repeatedly illegally arrested U.S. citizens, especially in Minnesota. And after agents murdered a U.S. citizen who tried to drive away from illegal detention, this should outrage every single American.
U.S. citizens do not have to prove their citizenship. Yet, ICE and Border Patrol agents are routinely violating the Constitution, demanding proof anyway… and even refusing to accept drivers licenses or real IDs.
And now? Even a passport doesn’t matter.
This isn’t enforcement… it’s targeting Americans based on fear and appearance, treating citizens like criminals in their own country.
When will this end? When will the government stop stripping citizens of their rights and labeling them terrorists for simply existing?
