@MaryLloyd4 Totally agree. In addition she had Ductal Carcinoma In situ (DCIS) or intraductal carcinoma, not invasive breast cancer. Only 25 - 60% of UNTREATED DCIS cases progress to invasive cancer anyway. To even use the word ‘remission’ is misleading. She had preventative surgery.
