Tomorrow, I'm going to be on an episode of Poets & Writers WEHC 90.7 at 6pm. I'll be talking about publicity, publishing, and maybe even my own writing with host Henry McCarthy!

My short story, "Midnight Oil," is now published on Unlikely Stories! @USdotorg https://t.co/PrVeuIn5sy

From page 37, "The sound of her own laugh was foreign to her now, startlingly childlike in its pitch and unexpected candor." #querying

[David Badurina - XXXII @DavidBadurina]

We always ask each other "What's the first line of your novel," but nobody asks what the 5th line on page 37 is.

I want to know what the 5th line on page 37 of your book is.

Here's mine: "For instance, I remembered meeting a woman named Anastasia in New York at CBGB in 1975."

My short story “Midnight Oil” has been accepted for publication with Unlikely Stories @USdotorg !! I had so much hope for this piece, as it’s quite near and dear to me, and went through several workshops. It should be out in the world by the end of the month 🫶🏻
