Les conservateurs sont déçus que les États-Unis aient choisi d'imposer de nouveaux tarifs injustifiés au Canada. Ces tarifs menacent le gagne-pain de familles partout au pays.

Les Canadiens doivent rester unis pour défendre notre pays contre ces attaques injustes envers nos emplois et nos entreprises. Le Canada ne peut pas accepter des tarifs unilatéraux qui vont désindustrialiser notre pays. Nous ne pouvons pas non plus accepter une mauvaise entente. Nous devons plutôt continuer nos efforts pour un commerce sans tarifs. Plus tard aujourd'hui, je vais chercher à m'entretenir avec le premier ministre afin de discuter de ce que nous pouvons faire pour défendre nos travailleurs, nos entreprises et notre économie. On va toujours mettre notre pays d'abord.

Les conservateurs appuient les mesures visant à protéger les Canadiens et nos industries ciblés par ces tarifs injustes des États-Unis.

Nous avons également besoin de réformes économiques urgentes pour rétablir la croissance, protéger les emplois et sauver nos entreprises. Cela doit inclure la fin de la taxe carbone industrielle, l'annulation des lois anti-développement, le feu vert aux 500 projets économiques en attente d'approbation fédérale et d'importantes réformes fiscales pour ramener les investissements dans notre pays, récompenser le travail et relancer notre économie.

Tous les Canadiens doivent rester unis pour nos travailleurs, nos entreprises et notre pays.

Congratulations to Donald J. Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States.

The U.S. is Canada’s best friend and biggest trading partner, and I will work with the President to benefit both countries.

My mission: save our jobs.

The U.S. has already taken half a trillion dollars of investment and jobs from Canada under 9 years of Trudeau, and our people cannot afford homes and food. Yesterday’s result confirms we must cancel Trudeau’s plan to quadruple the carbon tax and hike other taxes, which would push hundreds of thousands more jobs south where President Trump will be cutting taxes even further.

We must axe taxes. Bring home our paycheques. Save our jobs. Stand up for Canada.
