@LittleMissCelia I think it was also the fact that characters within the episode compared it to blackface made the drow elf more controversial. But I agree! there is a longer convo to be had about that.

@LittleMissCelia Absolutely! So The drow cosplay is in the category of blackface because it can be seen as an exaggeration of black features (I.e. skin color). So while it was intended to parody an elf, the visual exaggeration crossed it over into questionable territory.
