This one hit close to home..
Barely 3weeks now, a lady said she wouldn't want her husband's first wife to attend her wedding and we all came for her. I have always believed a wife has no business attending her husband's wedding truly, bit this woman went over and beyond.
The Amaria is my assistant's friend and the first wife completely took over her wedding
@_KeneC just do a quick research. I only mentioned Igbos because everyone complaining on my TL is Igbo. To me, Nigerians have little moral standing in this conversation when ethnic slurs against other groups are used so casually in our own circles. Itโs almost normalized.
@kosy_myra Ndi ofe manu doesnโt sound mockish to you? why yall acting like itโs out of the ordinary for ethnic groups to have demeaning tags for other ethnicities?Almost every society has some kind of in group out group labeling, and sometimes itโs playful teasing, most times itโs hostile.
Jesus lived 600 years earlier in a far more unrefined era, yet He never owned a single slave. What is most startling about Christ is how He entirely bypassed the cultural traps of antiquity. He easily could have engaged in the socially permissible norms of His day that age horribly now; like marrying a minor, or owning and sexually exploiting slaves. But He didnโt. He lived with absolute moral perfection in a time when the ethical bar was on the floor, and His standard remains flawless today. He is God.
