@blushdee4@notpopbase they accomplished that.
And ps Lexi is insufferable and did a bad job 🤷🏻♀️there could've been praise given at the good writing and acting of thinking you're better than everyone else and making your first big mistake and realizing you have ways to go, but y'all hate Jules too much
@blushdee4@notpopbase genuinely obtuse by ignoring the fact that the show is talking about censorship, as much as you want to think it's about Jules being a failed artist lol
Art is supposed to express what one is and feels and provoke emotion on other people, idk who made that beautiful painting but
@blushdee4@notpopbase this would be true if Jules cared about her art being commercial in any way, sure the exposure would be great but what's the point of having eyes on your art if it's not the art you want to make? She was not given a chance to fix it, she was given a chance to self-censor
@blushdee4@notpopbase is bad a her job and didn't express clearly what she needed. I don't have an issue with nudity and I mean if you're watching Euphoria you maybe also don't 😂 Jules is not in the wrong that's my take, but the show is saying Jules is being censored and she is
@blushdee4@notpopbase It's in the text of the show, what are you talking about lol she was asked to make a painting, her style is expressive of sexuality, the people said we cannot show that on TV, effectively censoring her.
The show is trying to say that that's obvious and I'm defending her bc Lexi
@leyendosolament@foxxyscleo and the Jules hate is so annoying bc if anything, both are at blame but people act like Lexi got screwed up on purpose when really she didn't do her job right and also acting like she was doing Jules a favor when Jules never asked for it
@leyendosolament@foxxyscleo Lexi wouldn't survive a single day in the real world 🙄 this was obviously trying to make commentary on censorship of trans bodies but it's also true that you have to be clear when commissioning a work of art
@venusianhunty The painting very much gives the picnic paint Lexi's referring to, so what's your point? why assume Jules knows that the show is network or is familiar with network censoring rules? The lady even says "idk if Lexi told you this is network TV" so Lexi didn't do her job right
@sapphicperez Bc if Lexi thought Jules is the person for the job but the only thing she knows is Jules paints, she's a bad friend and bad at her job 🤷🏻♀️ I've worked in creative fields and I would never think of recommending a friend unless I know they're the perfect fit bc mistakes cost money!
@AnksAfterDark Nudity is not R rated by itself it falls into pg-13, sexually suggestive nudity is R.
Then again y'all are assuming Jules watches Lexi's idiotic soap opera. I just don't get why everyone is defending Lexi when even her own boss explicitly said it was her fault 🤷🏻♀️
@AnksAfterDark and someone else is wrong for associating nudity with picnics. I live in Germany and the amount of nudity I see in picnics is surprisingly high in summer 🤷🏻♀️ I think the fault falls definitely on Lexi bc Jules did not ask her for a job
@AnksAfterDark Isn't it kinda irresponsible for someone commissioning a paint to not do any background check of the artist's style to see if it matches what you're looking for? Art is one of those things we all agree are subjective, if 14 nudes don't come to your mind doesn't mean you're right
