Update — Stevens spokesperson Arik Wolk tells me:
“Haley disagrees with and disavows this comment. Her campaign is about bringing Michiganders together, not dividing them.”
@Normal_n_Online@HaleyforMI@gretchenwhitmer@JoeTate313 See, you have nothing to say to that. Good luck in a general election campaign against Mike Rogers, because that Piker remark…and Abdul choosing not to condemn it…will be plastered on ads everywhere if Abdul wins.
They sure did, and that’s the fault of the Democratic politicians who failed to make the case to the voters as to why they should be elected instead.
Kamala Harris didn’t have an answer to inflation, and the voters punished her for it.
That doesn’t make the voters stupid. It means Democrats need to do better.
@RachelAzzara Look, she’s a local elected official and if she thinks these things, she needs to be held accountable. The Stevens campaign needs to refuse her endorsement and condemn these comments.
@BeshearStan She didn’t alter his appearance, she used an old photo. I think she absolutely needs to condemn this comment, and I believe she will. Let’s give her the opportunity to speak.
Abdul didn’t condemn Piker’s comment that America deserved 9/11 and actively campaigned with him anyway
@_modernfootball@mndemsoc Does Abdul share Hasan Piker's view that America deserved 9/11? He didn't condemn the comment, accepted Piker's endorsement, and campaigned with him.
Haley has not had the opportunity to condemn this comment yet.
