@fnveenie 100%. Also seems to be a lack of execution in big games (both game 7s, and the last few games). Maybe it’s the inexperience for players and coach in this position
@DemidovHabs Not a single lineup change or tactic adjustment over the last 4 games is insane. Same with both game 7s - sitting back, not creating offence, no energy at all. It’s embarrassing
@DemidovHabs It’s pathetic to watch. And MSL won’t make a single adjustment for next game. Will play the exact same way with the same lines and just expect a different outcome.
@seanhhm Absolutely. And our goalies should be against the post during those dump ins. It’s a home rink, so no excuse not to be prepared for that to happen
@fnveenie Benefits the first line if it continues since they attack well with odd man rushes, just gotta be careful because Tampas offence can just do the same
@fnveenie He always slows down thinking he’s that much faster… he needs to learn from Hutson. Just go fast and go around the net. It’s insane he never learns
@fnveenie Might be crazy, but another option to move Slaf back to line 2, and then maybe you can keep Newhook as the C? (If the first line doesn’t start generating more 5on5). Not many options right now lol
@fnveenie I thought the entire point of calling a 2 or 4 is so that they measure intent. How is an intentional high stick that was caused by the other team called a 4 after review? So ridiculous
@HabsLaughs If you are tripped and fly into the other goalie, do you get a goaltender interference penalty? No, so why is that a penalty. It’s such a joke.
@HabsLaughs Would have been great to see him join the team, but it’s probably best for his development. If he doesn’t feel ready to make the jump, then he isn’t.
