🥹 My ♥️ right there! Really proud of him. Resume is a proven - reliable- hardworking young man. Work ethic is second to none.
I don’t think it’s talked about enough how he’s the returning leader of the Lobo WR room that has the most snaps, yards, & catches coming back from last season. And that’s even after missing 1.5 games. Highest completion % w/fewest drops from that WR group too. A receiver who blocks his butt off, runs the heck out his routes, drags the Defenses and has never been afraid to do the dirty work.
He’s not put on a pedestal, he’s not a primmadonna, he’s the opposite of one. Keeps a little chip on his shoulder but for a good reason. He’s paid dues and continues to pay dues while he’s seen others come n go & are freely given the keys to the car. One things for certain….He has had to work for every single thing big or small. Leader in a room, exceptional in his school and studies, and caring enough to help others. A true blue collar work horse. An Afro-Latino w/Pascua Yaqui Native blood that resonates with NM fans & heritage. 3rd season as a Lobo who’s had 3 WR coaches in that room go and come. Has given it his all and never once let the circumstances or outcome impact the way he shows up. One helluva big brother, a son who still takes my trash out when he comes home, and loves his Christmas chili 🌶️ & his 70+ yr old grandmothers. Be good to him. 🙏 #TheStandard #Represent #ProudMom
