@SeanFennessey I was just a couple years out of college when Sherman's March came out. I immediately bought an 8mm camcorder (about 10 pounds back then, I think) and proceeded to record just about everything for about a year. If only I learned any editing skills....
@Delta I really wish Delta would make it clear exactly where checked baggage from YUL to ATL would arrive. I wasted an hour because the signage said Claim 2 while the app said Claim 7 but did not make it clear that it was Claim 7 in the International Terminal.
@70sOn7 It's Thursday, and that means....you guys are playing only the music for the Casey Kasem countdown...not Casey's interstitials. How does that happen? It happens with the Big 40 countdown on @Big80son8 every once in a while, too.
Rewatched Pulp Fiction tonight, and when Mia Wallace describes her TV pilot, Fox Force Five, to Vincent, I realized that it is exactly the same premise as @the355movie. @SeanFennessey@akdobbins@TheBigPic, surely this is the hook for an episode on "art" (cq) imitating art.
@JackLeeRoberts Well...that's one way to look at it. Another is that the same insane post-truth "who the f' cares whether it wrecks everything' mindset that fueled a certain person's political career has now moved to investing. It's scary if you are in your 50s and have a 401(k), frankly.
@JackLeeRoberts North? I mean...yeah...relative to Alabama. But I don't think many people would call it part of "the North." I'd vote for South Dakota.
@JoshMalina Hell yes! I’d listen to the two you talk about that TV commercial Martin Sheen does for that prescription discount card! I might even listen to the two of you talk about something else @BradleyWhitford is in.
@2020_Byproduct @TheRewatchables@BillSimmons@ChrisRyan77 True, which makes it weird that they didn’t mention it earlier. I feel like he remembered it later and just worked it in. Something similar happened with Fletch. No mention of Chase’s Fox talk show when they were talking about talk shows, but then it came up at the end.
@TheRewatchables@BillSimmons@ChrisRyan77 Alas, one regrettable correction, we (Go Hoyas!) won the title in 1984, not 1985. Also, it was because of Friedkins' choices in The Exorcist (especially the bleeding Mary in the chapel) that made the Jesuits wary. Sad, because my college paper pals and I had an in to be extras.
