Congrats to our new officers elected at our meeting yesterday, Daniel, Nikki, Abi, and Nicole! We can't wait for the great year ahead. Also thanks to Nikki for presenting about the ACE program yesterday!
We had a great time last Thursday looking and things under microscopes and painting them! We also finished our fundraiser sale. Congrats Abby on selling the most jars of salsa!
We had a great time last week along with Environmental Club during our Winter Party! We painted bird houses, ate cake, and had other snacks! Hope everyone has a great Winter Break!
We had a great time today dissecting owl pellets! It was very fun to find all the tiny bones inside. Thank you to everyone who participated and to @RAPTORIncOhio for providing the pellets!
Our next meeting is tomorrow. We'll be dissecting owl pellets! Owl Pellets are clumps of undigested fur, bones, and other things that owls cough up. By dissecting them, we can find out what the owls have been eating. Come tomorrow to join the fun!
We had a great time yesterday learning about raptors from @RAPTORIncOhio! It was very cool to see all the birds! Thank you to everyone who came and to Raptor Inc. for teaching us about them!

We had a great time last Thursday on our fall hike! There were so many beautiful colors! Thank you to everyone that joined us!
We will be meeting this Thursday to go on a fall hike in the Johnson Nature Preserve next to the school! We will meet in Mrs.Scheidler's room and then go from there. Dress for the weather!
We caught a Common Garter Snake yesterday while Turtle Tracking! It's the first time we've caught a snake in Bio Club! π
We choose our new officers last Thursday! They are Daniel K (Treasurer), Kasey W (Secretary), and Nikki P (Fundraising)! Thank you to everyone who ran for the positions and to everyone who voted. We also had lots of fun playing Pictionary afterward!
Today is our officer election meeting! Come to vote for our new officers or even try to be one yourself! We will also be playing pictionary afterwards!
We had our first turtle tracking meet yesterday and it went great! We found 2 of our turtles and many other cool things such as some fuzzy-looking Aphids and many fungi!

We had a great time on Monday learning about and trying fermentation! We made so many jars of vegetables that will ferment over the next 2 weeks - just in time for our final meeting! Thanks for everyone who helped!
