Video game centric account for @ccanfield1 where I'll post mostly about gaming related stuff. Play on PlayStation, Xbox & Nintendo but born & raised a SEGA kid.
@PlayStation Game looks cool but I’m still thrown off by the cube and talking ribbon. Seems like something from a Guardians of the Galaxy game and not God of War.
@ZhugeEX I thought this game had a DLSS5 look to it. Seems like that might be the case when they say refined AI assets. It just looks a little off to me, like DLSS5 RE9, the only difference is we hadn’t seen this character without the AI coat of paint to compare it to.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis used generative AI at one point, but its devs say all AI assets have been "replaced or refined by humans." https://t.co/QLxOF5Ah5N
@2_Old_4_Gaming What gods are the talking cube and ribbon ? That was the most distracting part of the reveal for me that I still have a hard time getting past. Otherwise the rest looked cool and interacting with a bunch of different gods in the afterlife sounds like an interesting premise.
@HoegLaw I just kept getting distracted by the cube character named Frank. It seems like something from a Guardians of the Galaxy game and not God of War.
@2_Old_4_Gaming Agreed. I just had a hard time getting past the talking cube named Frank. It seems like something you would have in Guardians of the Galaxy and not God of War.
@DMC_Ryan I have fond memories of playing pinball with my dad as a kid. He used to have to work on the weekends sometimes and take us with him. He would always take us to eat lunch at a place that had a bunch of pinball machines. My favorites were Adam’s Family and Terminator 2.
@giocorsi@amboyes I’ve kept this photo in my profile for so long in part because I love Adam’s bewildered look in the background. You guys were part of a great team at @PlayStation and @IronGalaxy
