I guess it'll be released in 2027 at the earliest, but I hope they would take it a bit longer to improve the qualities.
Plus, hire a better director pls. I know Mike Mitchell keeps saying that he's a big fan of KFP or smth, but he's clearly unable to handle this franchise well.
‘KUNG FU PANDA 5’ should release in “at least 3 years,” says director.
“I think it's because it's actually harder to make a sequel because we have to make it now five times better than the first one.”

@kfp2isthebest made KFP4 more comedic instead of serious, didn't give the Chamelon a proper backstory & motives, etc (it was also the executive's fault, can't fully blame Mike tho). I'm so glad if Mike realized his mistakes and listened to what the fans wanted now (2/2)
@kfp2isthebest I'm not hating him that much, it's just I think KFP deserved a better direction. I know Mike constantly says that he always cares deeply about KFP and the crews are pleased to work with him. But, his concepts and ideas are abysmal, like putting humans in the KFP universe, (1/2)
Tbh i'm so confused when they've done something so serious like PiB2, but suddenly they can't do it in KFP? I know they're known for being inconsistent but why...
Future ‘KUNG FU PANDA’ sequels will “keep going bigger,” says director.
“I just think that character could last forever.”

@Shinzo70822926 Agreed, despite the rough animation, voice, it still in a storyboard or etc, those leaked trailers just didn't impress me at all. I had mixed feelings tbh, and now some of the things i feared had actually happened
About 1 year ago today (or maybe yesterday), KUNG FU PANDA 4 trailers got leaked.
There were 2 trailers, both of which were unexpectedly accurate. What was your first reaction looking at the leaked trailers?
@KungFuPandaStan Well i just watched the leaked trailers few days before the official released. I wasn't sure if it was any good either, it didn't impress me at all and made me worried af. But sure it's kinda relief to see the final product even tho it hasn't fully exceeded our expectations
This is truly impressive and shows that people still have a strong affection for KFP franchise, despite the fourth installment not meeting many people's expectations.
Easily $700-750M if it's as good as PiB2 tbh.
KFP5 is definitely happening is it? I hope they allocate more budgets maybe $100-110M so they can hire Furious 5 VA, rehire the original director, and strive for a more serious and balanced story.
