@elonmusk@MosheShekhter@Tesla@elonmusk my car was recently damaged in a parking lot sentry mode would have helped me find out who did it.
@elonmusk The only legal issue, afaik, preventing us from having it is "silenced " sentry mode (without alarm).
Any news/update about that?
@elonmusk@DoctorJack16 One of the most useful and reassuring features in @Tesla cars is the sentry mode . In Israel this feature is not available because alarms are not allowed by law and Tesla gives the possibility to turn the Alarm on in Sentry . @elonmusk Israel wants to enjoy Sentry!

@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt Sentry Mode doesn't operate in Israel because the Israeli law forbids a vocal alarm; but no Sentry means no footage when parking, so Tesla owners can't see who hit them. Can you enable Sentry in Israel while just disabling vocal alarm? Thousands of Tesla owners will thank you.

Dear Elon, I would like to share with you a common issue that more than 6000 users in Israel cant use sentry mode due to country law that forbid us to have alarm and generally noise during night.
I am not a software engineer dose it complicate to lock out only the alarm option?
