Even today, when someone’s first instinct is to ask what Jews did to deserve discrimination, it shows why the concern has not fully disappeared

If people today still imply Jews deserved discrimination, the old bias clearly isn’t gone. So this Rabbi is not so wrong.

Maybe todays police is different, (I am not sure), but millennia of discrimination by the authorities in Europe against the Jewish people cannot be ignored.
