@drstupid_phd @davidjbland And as far as the rationale, it's the only pure way to get actual user intention data. You cannot ask users what they want, as they will tell you what they want to hear. You need to observe them in a controlled environment.

@drstupid_phd @davidjbland Fantastic question. I think so long as you are clear with someone who clicks on the CTA that it's a research project that will inform whether the project gets made, no harm no foul. I have never had anyone get angry. It's just a click after all.
