Our trip to Chile back in November had some excellent sightings, including the stunning Diademed Sandpiper-Plover, Inca Terns, several Albatross species and of course Pumas!

BOC shot of a close Northern Buller's Albatross on a Pelagic off Central Chile today with Avian Adventures. White-chinned Petrels, Royal and Salvin's Albatrosses, Peruvian Diving-Petrels, Humbolt Penguins, Inca Terns and Seaside Cinclodes also seen. Some birds yet to be ID'D!!

Just a gorgeous Diademed Sandpiper-Plover chilling out by the side of the mountain track on my first full day in Chile (with Avian Adventures). Andean Condors weren't too shabby either!

3 species of flamingo in the Atacama Desert today, including this James's, plus point blank views of Andean Avocets, Baird's Sandpipers, Puna Plovers and Fabian's Lizards to name but a few birds on the Avian Adventures tour of Chile. Highrr altitude Birding tomorrow!
