On May 22, AHS Juniors & Seniors visited the ConEd East River Generating Station to see aviation powerplant tech in action! They witnessed GE turbine engines producing electricity & steam for Manhattan instead of thrust, & explored great career paths with @ConEdison.

On April 27–28, Aviation HS students witnessed history as Joby Aviation completed the first eVTOL “air taxi” flights from JFK to Manhattan/East River.

After learning about the aircraft on April 16, our JFK Annex students saw the future of flight take off.
