One thing I’ve learned over the years is that you never really know where a simple conversation might lead.
Some of the best friendships and opportunities in my life started with just taking the time to talk.
What’s a random conversation you had that you’re glad happened?
What’s a simple habit that has made a big difference in your life?
Nothing fancy—just something you do that keeps you grounded.
I’d enjoy hearing what works for you.
250 years ago, an idea changed the course of human history. 🇺🇸
The belief that freedom belongs to the people — that citizens could govern themselves, pursue their dreams, speak freely, worship freely, innovate, build, and create a better future for the next generation.
I was blessed to spend 20 years wearing the uniform of this nation and many more years flying around the world. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for just how rare this American experiment truly is.
America’s greatest achievement has never been perfection — it has been possibility. The idea that your future does not have to be determined by where you started, but by your determination, courage, faith, and willingness to work.
For 250 years, generations of Americans have carried that promise forward.
Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
May we always cherish the freedoms we inherited, honor those who protected them, and pass them on stronger than we received them.
One thing life has taught me is that the people who stay calm when things go sideways usually aren't the lucky ones...
They're the ones who've been there before.
When did experience change the way you handled a tough situation?
What’s one piece of advice you didn’t appreciate when you were younger… but now realize was absolutely right?
For me, there are a few that make a lot more sense today than they did at twenty.
One thing flying around mountains taught me is that confidence is earned by respecting your limits—not pretending you don't have any.
What's a lesson experience taught you that no book ever could?
What’s something you own that isn’t particularly valuable—but you’d never replace because of the memories attached to it?
I’d enjoy hearing the story behind it.
@ScottPresler They didn’teven give you a reason? What the heck is wrong with my Republican Party. It is not a good reflection for our Party at all. Please keep up the great work you are doing for America Scott.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the best lessons usually come from the mistakes you didn’t expect to make.
Looking back, what’s one mistake that ended up teaching you something valuable?
@aviationbrk It sounded like the engine was in a runaway condition after the forced landing. I saw the pilot securing everything. Any thoughts to what caused that? BZ to the pilot and the passengers for being calm and collected .
@xAviation Why do you think he continued to save it? Could it have been he had a flight control issue after the initial impact and no longer had control?
Over the years I’ve learned that the people who stay curious tend to stay young—no matter their age.
What’s something you’ve learned recently that genuinely surprised you?
If you could bring back one discontinued product, restaurant item, or piece of technology from the past, what would it be?
And why do you think people still miss it?
One thing flying helicopters taught me is that small decisions made early are usually the ones that matter most.
I've found that's true in life, too.
What's one small decision that ended up changing your life in a big way?
