@dattebayoun It’s because as a tank you as a role have the least agency in solving problems. And tanks that are given strong abilities typically disproportionately hurt tanks more than they hurt any other role.
@PWaynorth@Jack88ish@NKY_Leftist To make laws against that situation would not be pro choice. If you accept that a mother can for any reason than you have to accept that edge cases like this need to be legal. That doesn’t mean we can’t morally criticize it, but we can’t make it illegal.
@user7643789327 Individual experience living in society is not sufficient to have a complete view of a larger social movement. It can totally inform your perspective, but becoming an authority in anything requires engaging with something on a deeper level.
@snurflecolours He is definitely going to be making a second blade for himself. A big part of being a “samurai” is the 大小 (Daisho) which is a pair of a long sword and a short sword. Considering all the association with Chihiro and samurais it only makes sense that he it for himself.
@Jtucker___@WilliamArnolds4@JatlelGrapploct Totally agree. Since in kagurabachi there’s more dimensions to the overall “strength” past just destructive power, I think it’s a little meat-headed to just express the strength of the blades just by saying that they are “x” level.
@WilliamArnolds4@Jtucker___@JatlelGrapploct I agree with this. I’m not gonna say that he’s not able to do it, but I will say that using the malediction as proof is misleading.
@WilliamArnolds4@Jtucker___@JatlelGrapploct Perhaps I’m looking at it from a different perspective, but typically “island level” they mean they can output an amount of force that can destroy an island. If Kira from death note wrote the names of all the islanders and killed them I wouldn’t call that an island level feat.
@WilliamArnolds4@Jtucker___@JatlelGrapploct So technically “with one swing of the blade” he killed 200,000 people, but I don’t think that’s enough to say he’s island level.
@WilliamArnolds4@Jtucker___@JatlelGrapploct He says this, but also the implication is that they were killed through the malediction ability. He didnt blow them up or something like he sucked away their life force en masse.
@TaionEnjoyer@MeidoMizuki Use Japanese subtitles to learn Japanese. You won’t understand very much, but by watching content with easy language you can start picking up on words that stick out to you. Also use a grammar guide to learn the most important grammatical structures.

@hatsu3425 When lowkey the more plausible explanation for a speed feat in the context of a whole series was that the laser beam was not moving at light speed or simply that the author severely underestimated how fast lightning is and as such should be treated as an outlier.
